Suno x Uniqlo

Suno-x-Uniqlo You guys.  It’s here!  Has anyone else been waiting as long as I have?  SUNO is one of my absolute favorite brands… The cuts are always so good, and I love their whimsical, girly prints + patterns.  That said, the prices are steep… (hello, this dress)! so naturally I’ve had my calendar marked for this collaboration!  I might have ordered four pieces… all for under $100, no less!  (I’ll let you know how I like them, but I advise ordering now before it sells out)!

Top:  Shirt Dress // Maxi Dress // Sleeveless Blouse (my personal fave)

Bottom: Striped Pants // Skirt // Striped Pants

Craving: Under $100 Florals

Under-$100-Florals

Florals just make me happy.  Here are a few of my favorites… all under $100.  Dress ‘em up for a girly / elegant vibe, or wear ‘em with something a little grungier (a military jacket or something camo) for a more downtown / edgy look.

From top left:  Turquoise Floral Dress // Cocktail Ring (slightly over $100 but couldn’t resist) // Neon Yellow / Floral Tee (have this guy, love the back)  // Flats // Sunglasses Case // Aqua/Green Shorts // Sweater // Necklace // Pink Shorts // Pleated Floral Dress (it’s on it’s way to me)!

I often think that I was supposed to have been born in California but somehow ended up in New England.  I mean, the beachy, laid-back (at least in summer) lifestyle of the Cape is actually very similar to many of the places I’ve visited in CA, but visiting CA always leaves me feeling rested, happy, and at peace.  If I didn’t have any responsibilities (or friends or family) I’d probably move to Venice or Santa Barbara, live in a little hut by the ocean, and make jewelry all day by the beach.  I know that NY’ers aren’t supposed to love CA (or gush about it) this much, but I can’t help it… it’s kind of like a little home away from home to me.

This past week, I was in LA for work meetings on Thurs + Fri, and then we visited my boyfriend’s mother in Santa Barbara.  Heaven.  I always say that it’s my second favorite place on Earth (besides Cape Cod, of course).  We got in some time by the pool, went to my two favorite SB restaurants (The Boathouse + San Ysidro Ranch).  It goes without saying… I did not want to come home!
