It’s hard to believe that we are already well into the first week of November! I guess between work, vacation, and Sandy, the month kind of flew by. The temps are getting chillier and holiday planning is into full swing at work. Here on the blog, I’ve already started planning gift guides… it’s kind of weird! I’m a planner, so I’ve already started my holiday shopping… but I still feel a little bit crazy admitting that. This month, a lot caught my eye, but here are my favorite things.
I first read about this little salve over here and just had to try it for myself. What ITG says is true… it smells like lovely lilacs and gives lips + cheeks the prettiest non-greasy berry tint. It’s made in small batches in Brookllyn and 100% organic. What’s not to love?! Might be my new dessert-island beauty product.
This Nuxe Body Scrub is a savior for dry winter skin. The formula is smooth and creamy and does some heavy duty moisturizing while sloughing off dead skin. I like that the grains are varied (small and course) so it doesn’t miss anything. I’m obsessed. It’s also nearly all organic + free of parabens.
Bing Bang only made 100 of these little rose gold skull bracelets for its collab with Of a Kind. I ordered mine immediately. It’s a special piece but also delicate enough to wear every day. I love that only 99 other people will have the same bracelet as me.
LNA makes my favorite t-shirts, so I was excited to try their sweaters. I love the subtle cut-outs on this one. Paired with jeans, it is classic with a funky little twist.
These Dara Ettinger druzy studs are the perfect way to add a subtle pop of color to your look. I’m loving both studs + druzy right now, so these were a must. An added bonus is that the warm coral tone is really flattering on nearly all skin tones.
You MUST check out everything in Calypso’s Soiree Collection… if only for the styling. The pants (gold sequin + foiled leather) really need to get in my closet. If you are in need of a little holiday outfit-planning inspiration, this lookbook is a great resource.
