DIY: Metallic Moon Manicure

As you know from last week, I am partnering up with Stylesip this month bring you three fashion-inspired nail art designs.  Today’s nails are inspired by this pretty studded dress.  I decided to start with a gold base and create a moon manicure using black + metallic silver.  The result is elegant and art deco… just in time for the holidays!!  Don’t forget…. Stylesip is launching an instagram contest where you can submit your own nail art inspired by the clothing – be sure to head over and check it out  - there are some pretty great prizes!

The results are so fun… I am loving mixed metals right now.

Materials:  Color Club Disco Nap // Sally Hansen Nail Art Pens in Silver + Black

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat

Once dry, coat with clear polish or top coat.  This step is very important as the nail art pens are water-based.

I love the half-moon look, and black and gold is such a glam combo!
