Transitional Beauty with Proactiv

In preparation for Fall, I have started to carefully plan out my transitional beauty routine as the temperature starts to cool down.  The good thing about Fall is that summer travel starts to wind down, so I can devote a bit more time to my appearance.  Sticking around on the weekends means I can actually make it to yoga.. and treat myself to a manicure afterward.  Also on the plus side:  the cooler temps mean that blow-outs are actually worth the price (summer humidity ruins my hair,) and makeup no longer melts off.

The not so great part is that every time the seasons change, my skin freaks out.  Flakes and dry patches in some parts, breakouts in others.   It’s not pretty… but like with most things, proper planning helps.  I love Proactiv’s Sheer Tint Moisture around these trying times.  It provides enough coverage to even out my skin tone; without clogging pores.  It’s an absolute must… as are the other six products pictured below!

Product details after the break.

Proactiv Sheer Tint Moisture

Xen Tan Perfect Blend Sunless Tanner (allows you to get adjust the level of your tan – I take things down a notch come Fall, but still like to get a healthy glow.)

This highlighter is my obsession, thanks to Victoria.  I use it constantly.  Apply at the brow bone, cheek bone, and a tiny bit down the bridge of your nose.

Fekkai’s Shine Spray is a necessity in my arsenal.  It’s lightweight but tames frizz.  I go through it like water!

Maybelline Super Stay 10hr Gloss Stain was one of those random drugstore finds.  Admittedly, the colors are a bit off off vs. the descriptions, but Miracle Mauve is the perfect Fall shade.  It’s more of a berry than a mauve, and it lasts all day.

I tend to play up my eyes a lot more in the Fall.  Summer is all about a bright lip, Fall means time for smoky eyes.  Urban Decay’s Naked Palette has every shade you could possibly need.

This Shea Terra Body Cream smells heavenly, is all organic, and moisturizes even my driest spots.  It’s a must!

Disclosure:  This post was sponsored by Proactiv Skincare.  All opinions are my own.  Stripes + Sequins only features products I truly love, and I certainly don’t mess around when it comes to my skin.

I used proactiv for a year before my wedding to avoid any chance of a break out, I am lucky and never really had problem skin but I wasn’t taking any chances. I loved the system and continue to use! I need to try that moisturizer!

You should definitely try the highlighter. Victoria (vmac) introduced me to it and I am just so obsessed with it!
